A very clean installation: 10 years ago, we built shoji for this home - now (in 2016) our clients requested we build shoji for thier new home and sent these pictures remarking on how their prevoius shoji "still looked like new".

The use of Warlon Japanese Laminated paper is key in long lasting, good looking shoji as it does not turn yellow like the commonly used fiberglass "papers".

Also of note is the pocketing of the window screens, providing full view, protecting the shoji when not in use and allowing for art work on the adjacent walls. The entire wall was framed out an extra 2" to provide the pockets.
